Kiruba Shankar
Kiruba Shankar is CEO of Business Blogging Pvt Ltd and Director of F5iveTechnologies. He has 13 years of experience in the Internet space. Prior to this, he was Associate Director at Sulekha.com. He is a technology columnist at The New Indian Express and Business Standard Newspaper. Kiruba loves teaching and has taught at Asian College of Journalism, Madras Advertising Club and IIT Madras. Kiruba is one of the founders of The Knowledge Foundation, the group behindsuccessful events like Proto.in, MobileMondays, BlogCamp and Facebook Developer Garage, Chennai. His first book is titled ‘Wikipedia : A Beginner’s Guide’ and his second, which will be launched in February 2010 is titled, ‘Engage : How Global Organizations Successfully Leverage Social Media’.
Sandeep Varma
Sandeep is a professional with 9 years of experience in Marketing and Advertising. He passed out of MBA from Amrita School of Business and a PGDAM from the Madras Advertising Club.
Starting his career in a Bank, he later joined a Marketing company. He then shifted to a BPO that services the Medical industry. After that, he worked for a Research firm followed by a stint in an Advertising agency, at present working in a Social Media consultancy firm. Sandeep has co organiseed many events like Wiki camp, TEDx Chennai and Facebook Developer Garage. His interests include Blogging, reading travelogues and Biographies.
Vasanth Kumar
A Senior Technical Project Manager by designation, Vasanth heads the Social Media & Mobile practice at QuScient Technologies (a Software firm based out of TIDEL Park, Chennai). Vasanth has 11 years of experience in Software development and have worked with Perot Systems, L&T Infotech, Photon Infotech in the past. Vasanth has long been associated with The Knowledge Foundation, a non-profit organization that’s instituted to share and spread knowledge on technical arena. Along with Kiruba, Vasanth has been instrumental in the first edition of Facebook Garage, Chennai. And have also organized quite a few other events like TwitterCamp, SearchCamp, etc.
